Legal Assistant and/or Paralegal

Position for a contract Plaintiff’s Litigation Legal Assistant and/or Paralegal. The successful candidate will have at least five years of plaintiff’s litigation experience, a working knowledge of electronic filing, motion practice, ticklering and calendaring for follow up, proper service, and excellent organizational skills to handle high volume litigation. The position is expected to last until the end of February but will most likely be continued through 2012 (no guarantee).

Administrative Assistant

Seeking a highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills to provide clerical and administrative support to staff, managers and/or directors in the Philadelphia office. The candidate will answer phones, create and/or type Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, process invoices, maintain department files, schedule meetings, etc.

Key responsibilities include:
-Arranges staff travel; compiles all receipts to submit for travel reimbursement; reviews receipts to reconcile credit card charges; completes expense reports as required.
-Performs administrative duties, including ordering supplies, managing incoming and outgoing mail, assembling reports, etc.
-Schedules conference rooms, hospitality services, videoconferencing equipment, etc. Confirms arrangements.
-Coordinates office and/or department events to include blood drives, special events, parties, etc.
-Performs other duties specific to assigned office/desk. Additional duties may include working with vendors to finalize purchases, issuing office badges, functioning as a receptionist as necessary, etc.
-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must have intermediate level skills in Word and Excel and have the ability to learn additional skills through in-house training and education. Minimum of two to four years of experience providing clerical and administrative support required. Must be able to type 50 wpm.

Project Assistant

Description:
Seeking a self-motivated individual for the Philadelphia office, to assist paralegals and/or attorneys by maintaining case files, organizing and maintaining data bases, preparing closing books, obtaining information for internal and external sources and performing other administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities include:
- Organizes document production for attorney review.
- Researches public recordings using public websites.
- Assists with preparing a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc.
- Assists paralegals and attorneys with mailings and filings.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Strong communication skills are required to interact with paralegals, attorneys and clients, and advanced organizational skills are required to manage volumes of documents. Must have two to four years of office experience, preferably in a law firm environment supporting paralegals and/or attorneys.

Part-Time Litigation Secretary

Litigation secretary needed for a part-time three days per week position. The successful candidate will work one day per week in the Philadelphia office and two days per week in the Norristown office. The days will be set days in each office. Litigation and family law experience required.
